PM Shahbaz Sharif Sends 100 Tons of Relief Supplies for Palestinian Brothers and Sisters

On the special instructions of Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, a consignment of 100 tons of relief supplies has been dispatched for Palestinian brothers and sisters via a special flight from Allama Iqbal International Airport.
The dispatch of the relief supplies was overseen under the leadership of the Prime Minister's Special Assistant, Tariq Mahmood ul-Hasan, and managed by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA). The dispatched supplies include medicines, tents, blankets, and water cans.
According to Tariq Mahmood ul-Hasan, Pakistan has so far sent a total of 26 aid consignments for Gaza, while 2527 tons of relief supplies have been delivered, keeping in view the needs of the Palestinian people.
He said that the continuous relief efforts reflect Pakistan's unwavering resolve and strong cooperation with international and national welfare organizations. He thanked the NDMA, saying that the institution made commendable arrangements for the immediate dispatch of the relief supplies.
The Special Assistant commended the services of all welfare organizations, especially the Al-Khidmat Foundation, stating that they played a full role in achieving this noble objective.
Tariq Mahmood ul-Hasan further stated that Pakistan has always stood shoulder-to-shoulder with the Palestinian people, and this series of aid provision reflects Islamic brotherhood, shared values, and moral responsibility.
He prayed for lasting peace in Palestine, and for the safety and stability of the brave Palestinian people. He expressed hope that this relief flight would reach its deserving recipients safely via Egypt.
