KPK Minorities Delegation Led by JUI MPA Baba G Gurpal Singh Meets IGP Zulfiqar Hameed

A delegation of minority MPAs from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, led by JUI MPA Baba G Gurpal Singh, called on Inspector General of Police (IGP) Zulfiqar Hameed at the Central Police Office. The delegation included MPA Askar Farwaz, MPA Suram Kumar, and MPA Behri Lal.

The IGP lauded the minority community for their patriotic role and valuable services in the country’s development, assuring them of a safe and peaceful environment to continue contributing towards national progress. He emphasized that ensuring the protection of minorities’ lives, property, businesses, places of worship, and residences was the foremost duty of the police.

Zulfiqar Hameed informed the delegation that special directives have been issued to senior police officials across the province for foolproof security of minority communities, with effective implementation of protection mechanisms.

The delegation appreciated the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police for their efforts to safeguard all citizens and reaffirmed their loyalty to Pakistan, pledging to stand united against terrorism and all threats to the homeland. DIG Security Qasim Ali Khan was also present during the meeting.
