World Sikh Parliament Releases Mool Nanakshahi Calendar (Samvat 558) Amid Jaikaras at Gurdwara Sri Guru Dashmesh Singh Sabha, Cologne

The Mool Nanakshahi Calendar Samvat 558 (Year 2026–27), a symbol of the distinct identity and unique existence of the Sikh nation, was released with great enthusiasm and resounding jaikaras by the World Sikh Parliament at Gurdwara Sri Guru Dashmesh Singh Sabha, Cologne, Germany. The calendar was unveiled during special Shaheedi commemorative events dedicated to the Four Sahibzadas, Mata Gujri Ji, and all the martyrs of Chamkaur Garhi.
On this sacred occasion, the Raagi Jatha led by Bhai Mohinder Singh (Anandpur Sahib) mesmerized the congregation through Gurbani Kirtan and narrated the glorious history of Sikh martyrdom. It is noteworthy that Bhai Mohinder Singh Ji also conducted week-long training sessions, imparting Kirtan and Gurmat education to children.
At the conclusion of the Sunday Diwan, the President of the Gurdwara Management Committee, Bhai Gurpal Singh, honored the Raagi Jatha for their Panthic services by presenting them with a Siropaao as a blessing from the Guru’s house.
In the end, representatives of the World Sikh Parliament along with the Gurdwara Management Committee distributed the Mool Nanakshahi Calendar among the gathered Sangat. The congregation highly appreciated this meaningful initiative, considering it an important step towards strengthening Sikh identity.
