Special Gurmat Samagam Dedicated to the Martyrs of Saka Chamkaur Sahib and Saka Sirhind

A special Gurmat Samagam dedicated to the supreme sacrifice of the four Sahibzadas of Sahib-e-Kamaal Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, Mata Gujri Ji, and the martyrs of Saka Chamkaur Sahib and Saka Sirhind Fatehgarh Sahib was held with deep devotion at Gurdwara Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Ramdas Ji, Duisburg, Germany.
According to the Gurdwara Management Committee, Sri Akhand Path Sahib was commenced on Friday, December 26, and the Bhog ceremony was concluded on Sunday morning, December 28. Following this, Gurmat Diwans were held in which Bhai Puran Singh Ji, Bhai Ranjit Singh Ji (Granthi Singh of the Gurdwara), and children performed Shabad Kirtan, spiritually uplifting the Sangat.
Guru Ka Langar was served continuously throughout the event. On this occasion, the Original Nanakshahi Calendar (implemented in 2003) for Samvat 558, year 2026, prepared by Bhai Jagdish Singh Akhan (Sikh Sandesha) with the support of various management committees, was specially released and distributed among the Sangat.
The organizers thanked the Sangat and announced that a special Gurmat Samagam dedicated to the Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji will be held permanently according to the Nanakshahi Calendar on January 4, 2026 (Sunday).
