BJP Gears Up for Tarn Taran Bypoll: Senior Leaders Chart Out Strategy

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has initiated its full-fledged preparations for the upcoming Tarn Taran Assembly by-election. A high-level organizational meeting was convened at the BJP district headquarters, led by District President Harjit Singh Sandhu, with the participation of several senior party leaders.

Prominent attendees included former Union Minister Som Prakash, former Cabinet Minister Surjit Jyani, State Vice Presidents Keval Singh Dhillon and KD Bhandari, State Mahila Morcha President Biba Jaijinder Kaur, Senior Officer Ravikaran Singh Kahlon, and State Spokesperson Naresh Sharma. The leaders collectively discussed the strategic roadmap and issued directives for on-ground campaign efforts.

Som Prakash praised the growth of the party in Tarn Taran and credited Harjit Singh Sandhu and his hardworking team for their relentless efforts. He emphasized the need for booth-level mobilization and direct voter contact to ensure victory.


Surjit Jyani reiterated the BJP's commitment to recognizing loyal and hardworking workers, asserting that grassroots leaders are the true pillars of the party. Other leaders, including Keval Singh Dhillon and KD Bhandari, expressed strong confidence in a BJP victory, citing the enthusiasm and discipline evident in the local leadership.

Biba Jaijinder Kaur highlighted BJP’s democratic structure and the opportunity it provides for common citizens to rise through dedication. Ravikaran Singh Kahlon noted that the overwhelming energy seen at the meeting reflected the strong chance of winning the bypoll.

District President Harjit Singh Sandhu, expressing gratitude to all leaders, assured that under the high command’s guidance, the team would campaign vigorously. He affirmed, “This by-election will pave the way for a larger victory in 2027. BJP will win Tarn Taran with full voter support.”

Also present were District General Secretaries Harpreet Singh Sindhbad, Shiv Kumar Soni, Surjit Singh Sagar, and various morcha heads, circle presidents, and senior district-level leaders.
