Pakistan, Kuwait Leaders Discuss Trade, Investment and Energy Cooperation

 Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met with His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait, on the sidelines of the high-level segment of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The prime minister conveyed warm greetings to the Crown Prince and reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong and brotherly relations with Kuwait. The two leaders reviewed bilateral ties and discussed ways to further strengthen cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif underscored the importance Pakistan attaches to its relationship with Kuwait and highlighted opportunities to expand cooperation in trade, investment, energy and human resource development.
The leaders also exchanged views on regional and international developments and reiterated their shared commitment to promoting peace, stability and prosperity.
