Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian Arrives in Islamabad, Receives Grand Welcome

President of Iran, Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, has arrived in Islamabad. The President, Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, ministers, and senior officials extended a warm welcome.

President of Iran, Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, has arrived in Islamabad. On Tuesday, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif warmly received Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian upon his arrival at Nur Khan Airbase. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and senior officials were also present on the occasion. Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and a high-level Iranian delegation are also accompanying President Masoud Pezeshkian. Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian was given a grand reception at the airport. He was presented with a 21-gun salute, while Pakistan Air Force JF-17 aircraft also presented him with a salute. On the occasion, children dressed in traditional attire presented flowers to President Masoud Pezeshkian, while children holding Pakistani and Iranian flags welcomed the Iranian president. President Masoud Pezeshkian responded to the children's welcoming chants by waving his hand. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian warmly embraced and shook hands with the Pakistani leadership. First Lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari and Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari were also present to receive him. This is Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian's second visit to Pakistan as president.
