Major Bureaucratic Reshuffle in Punjab: 8 IAS Officers Transferred

 The Punjab Government has issued transfer and posting orders for 8 IAS officers with immediate effect. Under these orders, Deputy Commissioners of six districts have been transferred.

 List of Transfers

 Shri Vineet Kumar, IAS (2012) – Deputy Commissioner, Faridkot: His services have been placed at the disposal of the Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare for posting as Managing Director, Punjab State Warehousing Corporation Ltd., replacing Smt. Kanwal Preet Brar, IAS. Smt. Poonamdeep Kaur, IAS (2013) – Appointed as Deputy Commissioner, Faridkot, replacing Shri Vineet Kumar, IAS. Smt. Komal Mittal, IAS (2014) – Appointed as Deputy Commissioner, SAS Nagar, replacing Smt. Aashika Jain, IAS. Smt. Aashika Jain, IAS (2015) – Transferred as Deputy Commissioner, Hoshiarpur, replacing Smt. Komal Mittal, IAS. Shri Parminder Pal Singh, IAS (2016) – Previously Project Director, World Bank Project, Department of School Education-cum-Special Secretary School Education and Managing Director, PUNCOM, he has now been transferred to the Department of Local Government for posting as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, SAS Nagar, replacing Shri T. Benith, IAS. Shri Ankurjeet Singh, IAS (2018) – Previously Chief Administrator, Jalandhar Development Authority, he has now been appointed as Deputy Commissioner.
