Hindu Community to Celebrate Diwali at Krishna Mandir Lahore on October 21

The Hindu community’s festival of lights, Diwali, will be celebrated on October 21 at Krishna Mandir, Ravi Road, Lahore, under the auspices of the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB). The temple has been beautifully decorated with lights and flowers, while arrangements for security, sanitation, lighting, parking, and clean drinking water have been completed under the supervision of Additional Secretary Shrines Nasir Mushtaq. Coordination has also been made with the district administration and police to ensure smooth entry and exit for all participants.

Nasir Mushtaq stated that making proper arrangements for the religious festivals of minorities is the Board’s duty, emphasizing that a safe and welcoming environment will be provided for everyone attending the celebration.
Diwali, known as the festival of lights, commemorates the return of Lord Ram and symbolizes the victory of light over darkness. The event will be attended by Hindu religious leaders, community members, and citizens, who will offer prayers for national peace and prosperity.
