Punjab government deploys 278 flying squads to stop cheating in board exams, warning for schools in border areas

Punjab School Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains today said that to completely stop cheating in the 8th, 10th and 12th class board exams in the state, 278 flying squads have been formed by the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) and each team will have three members.
Reiterating the commitment of the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to conduct board exams in a fair and transparent manner, the School Education Minister said that these flying squads will be led by District Education Officers (DEOs), Principals, PSEB members and members of the Academic Council of the board. These teams will conduct surprise checks of the examination centers to stop cheating.
