SGPC Releases Flood Relief Details, Ensures Transparency – Advocate Dhami
Flood Victims’ Assistance Data Now Available on Official SGPC Website

The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) today released detailed accounts of relief operations carried out in flood-affected regions, along with donations received from the sangat (community). The details were made public through SGPC’s official website by President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami during a press conference at the SGPC headquarters.
Advocate Dhami said that in view of the devastation caused by floods, SGPC is reaching out to affected families with constant relief measures. He informed that SGPC had earmarked ₹20 crore for flood relief, while sangat from across the world continues to extend generous support.
As of September 19, 2025, SGPC has received more than ₹6.09 crore in contributions from its members, employees, and devotees. On the expenditure side, over ₹91 lakh has been spent on relief works through gurdwaras, while ₹23.26 lakh has been spent on medical services. He further noted that food supplies and essential goods sent by devotees are being distributed to flood victims.
Highlighting assistance for community initiatives, Dhami said SGPC has already provided 22,000 litres of diesel to sangat engaged in strengthening embankments, including 6,000 litres for Khemkaran, 5,000 litres for Dera Baba Nanak, and 11,000 litres for Sultanpur Lodhi. Another 8,000 litres will be given soon as per local demand. He added that SGPC will also help farmers with diesel and certified wheat seeds for upcoming sowing.
Dhami emphasized that SGPC is ensuring full transparency, and all records are available at https://floodrelief.sgpc.net. He appealed to critics not to mislead people with false allegations, stressing that in this time of crisis everyone should come together to support those in need.
Next Route of Shaheedi Nagar Kirtan Announced
On this occasion, Advocate Dhami also announced the next route of the Shaheedi Nagar Kirtan, dedicated to the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. The procession, which began in Assam, is now in Maharashtra and will cover Nagpur, Chandrapur, Karimnagar (Telangana), Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Chennai, Bangalore, Kolhapur, Solapur, Bidar, Nanded, Aurangabad, Mumbai, Surat, Ahmedabad, Indore, and other places before entering Punjab in the last week of October.
He called upon the sangat to participate in large numbers in this historic procession and pay homage to Guru Sahib.
