SGPC Celebrates Birth Anniversary of Bhai Lalo Ji at Gurdwara Sri Manji Sahib

The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) observed the birth anniversary of Bhai Lalo Ji, a devout follower of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, at Gurdwara Sri Manji Sahib Diwan Hall, associated with Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib.

After the conclusion of the Akhand Path Sahib, Gurbani Kirtan was rendered by the Hazuri Ragi Jatha of Bhai Jarnail Singh Koharka. Ardas was performed by Bhai Gurcharan Singh, while the holy Hukamnama was recited by Granthi Singh Sahib Giani Palwinderpal Singh.

Speaking on the occasion, Giani Palwinderpal Singh said that Bhai Lalo Ji’s life serves as an inspiration of humility and honest living. Guru Nanak Dev Ji honored Bhai Lalo Ji to highlight the principle of earning through truthful means, a message that remains relevant for humanity even today. He urged the congregation to live life in accordance with Guru Sahib’s principles of Kirat Karo, Naam Japo, Vand Chhako.

Prominent among those present were Sri Darbar Sahib General Manager S. Bhagwant Singh Dhangeda, Additional Manager S. Iqbal Singh Mukhi, S. Bikramjit Singh Jhungy, Preachers Bhai Tarsem Singh and Bhai Satwant Singh, as well as representatives from Ramgarhia Akal Jathebandi Punjab, including S. Harjeet Singh Ramgarhia, S. Balwinder Singh Kalsi, S. Jagjit Singh Saggu, S. Ram Singh Dheeman, and S. Kanwarbir Singh Manjal.
