All Will Unite Under Faith: Grand Gurmat Samagams Held Across Delhi Under Sikh Campaign

 New Delhi, June 19

In a powerful spiritual initiative titled "Khuaar Hoe Sabh Milenge" , a series of Gurmat Samagams (spiritual congregations) were organized across Delhi by various Singh Sabhas. These events witnessed the esteemed presence of Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargarj , Acting Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib and Jathedar of Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib.

During the two-day event, Jathedar Gargarj paid homage at historic Sikh shrines including Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib, Gurdwara Rakab Ganj Sahib, and Gurdwara Bangla Sahib. At each of these revered places, he was honored with siropaos (robes of honor) by the head granthis and the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee.

While serving jal seva at Bangla Sahib and performing joṛiyā̃ di seva at Sis Ganj Sahib, Jathedar emphasized the importance of unity, identity, and unwavering commitment to the teachings of the Guru.

Addressing the sangat, Jathedar Gargarj urged Sikhs to strengthen community bonds and remain dedicated to the supremacy of Sri Akal Takht Sahib. He stressed that no government has the right to interfere in the functioning of Sikh Gurdwaras or Takhts. “These sacred places belong to the Sangat, and their governance must reflect Panthic values,” he stated.

He expressed concern over the declining discipline among some Sikh youth in Delhi and encouraged parents, especially mothers, to instill Sikh history and values in their children. “Name your children with Singh and Kaur, uphold your spiritual identity, and guide them away from destructive habits,” he urged.

The Samagams also commemorated key Sikh historical events including the Parkash Purab of Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji, the establishment day of Akal Takht Sahib, and the 350th martyrdom year of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji and his devoted Sikhs.

Jathedar also pointed out the historical resistance Sikhs offered during British rule when they reclaimed control over Sri Harmandir Sahib. He likened today’s situation to a silent encroachment of the same spirit and warned against allowing Gurdwara management to slip away from Panthic hands.

The events saw massive participation from local Sangats, and the Delhi Sikh leadership extended their gratitude and honors to Jathedar Gargarj for his spiritual guidance and inspirational address.
