Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargajj, the Officiating Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, visited the residence of S. Kartar Singh at village Chohla Sahib in District Tarn Taran to meet with his grieving family. S. Kartar Singh, who was serving as the in-charge of the Dharam Prachar Committee under the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), recently passed away under suspicious circumstances.

Jathedar Gargajj emphasized that S. Kartar Singh came from a proud martyr family, having lost his father and two brothers during the Sikh struggle. He was known for his unwavering commitment and honest service to the Sikh Panth and its institutions. The Jathedar performed an Ardas (Sikh prayer) seeking eternal peace for the departed soul and strength for the family to bear this irreparable loss.
