Amritsar, March 6 ( Jugraj Singh Sarhali)

On the birth anniversary of the great Sikh leader, Martyr Bhai Amreek Singh Khalsa, a tribute was paid to him by the Sikh Youth Federation, led by former president Bhai Balwant Singh Gopala, current National President Bhai Ranjit Singh Damdami Taksal, former President Bhai Bhupinder Singh Chhe June, and General Secretary Bhai Gagandeep Singh Sultanwind.

The leaders expressed their firm commitment to carrying forward the struggle for Khalistan, initiated by Bhai Amreek Singh. They said, "We will continue guarding the struggle that Bhai Amreek Singh Khalsa started through the Federation, and we will work towards realizing the dream of Khalistan for our nation and its martyrs."

Bhai Amreek Singh, through the Federation, brought forth the voice of the Khalsa Panth, awakening Sikh youth, promoting Sikhism, and fighting for the rights of students. He also advocated for the prosperity, well-being, and freedom of the Sikh Panth and Punjab.

Bhai Amreek Singh Khalsa, the son of Sant Giani Kartar Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale (the 13th head of the Damdami Taksal), stood alongside Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale, supporting the Sikh cause by leading the community in its struggle against oppression. He played a crucial role in the Sikh struggle for dignity and justice, contributing to the fight against the government forces while protecting the sanctity of Sri Darbar Sahib and Sri Akal Takht Sahib. Bhai Amreek Singh Khalsa ultimately became a martyr for the Sikh cause.

The leaders of the Federation emphasized the importance of the martyrdom of Bhai Amreek Singh and other Sikh martyrs who fought alongside General Subeg Singh, Baba Thara Singh, and others at the famous Chamkor Fort, creating a historic chapter in Sikh military resistance.

Today, on the birth anniversary of Bhai Amreek Singh Ji, the Federation vowed to continue the struggle for the rights and freedom of Sikhs. They pledged to fight for the realization of the dream of Khalistan, a struggle that started with the bravery of Bhai Amreek Singh and has been carried on by generations of Sikhs.
