Sikh preacher, Panthic writer, and national president of Sikh Youth Federation Bhindranwale, Bhai Ranjit Singh Damdami Taksal, while discussing the current situation, said that the Badal Dal's leadership, which has been deemed ineligible by Sri Akal Takht Sahib, is a dead snake, and the sacrifices of Sikh youth will be needed to remove it from the community's neck. Only a movement like the Gurdwara Reform Movement can rid us of this anti-Panth leadership. They will cause more suffering than the Mahants (clergy). Getting rid of the Mahants was easier. Neither the Mahants admitted they were wrong, nor will these people admit they are wrong.
Bhai Ranjit Singh said that the Badals have tarnished the reputation of the Shiromani Akali Dal and the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, turning these two esteemed institutions into anti-Panth organizations. Like the Congress, BJP, and the Jharoo (AAP) party, the Badal Dal cannot improve anything for the Panth and Punjab; instead, it is causing more harm than these parties. Bhai Ranjit Singh said that Hindu leaders are saying that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has promoted both development and heritage. But here, our Sikh leaders talked about development but rolled over the heritage of the Panth and Punjab. The late Parkash Singh Badal and Sukhbir Singh Badal, in the name of development, also forgot the struggle for the independence of Khalistan, the struggle for the Anandpur Sahib Resolution, the demand for more rights, and the issue of the separate identity of Sikhs. Supporting the abrogation of Article 370 in Kashmir was a historic mistake by Sukhbir Singh Badal, which also marked the end of the Anandpur Sahib Resolution; the talk of Khalistan was far beyond them. The Badals were supposed to deliver justice for the fake police encounters, but instead, they tarnished themselves by promoting guilty and butcher police officers. The cases of Jathedar Bhai Gurdev Singh Kaunke, Bhai Jaswant Singh Khalra, and Baba Charan Singh Kar Sewa were important, but after forming the government in 1997, the Badals told Bibi Paramjit Kaur Khalra and other Sikh families, "Leave the old things, now talk about development."
Bhai Ranjit Singh Damdami Taksal said that the Congress killed Sikhs and demolished Sri Akal Takht Sahib, but the BJP and the Badals have dealt a major blow to Sikh principles and the supremacy of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, which will be very difficult to repair. He said that those who sing praises of the Badal Dal will be ashamed in the future. Bhai Ranjit Singh Damdami Taksal also said that the Shiromani Akali Dal does not need Sukhbir Singh Badal. He said that when the late Parkash Singh Badal and Sukhbir Badal were not there, the Akali Dal was at its peak, fighting for the rights of the Panth and Punjab. Even when Sukhbir Singh Badal is not there, the Akali Dal's existence will remain, and Sikhs will continue to uphold the principles bestowed upon them by their Guru Sahib. Every Sikh who meditates on the Almighty is an Akali; being a member of this party and contesting elections is not the only definition of an Akali. Bhai Ranjit Singh also said that Sardar Simranjit Singh Mann is leading the Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar very effectively, and he is firmly standing by Panthic principles, the prosperity of Punjab, the issue of Khalistan's independence, and the ideology of Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale. He said that Simranjit Singh Mann's party is the real Akali Dal, and the Badal group's Akali Dal has become a party of sacrilege, the Sirsa group, and the 'Baiya' (opportunist) group.
