Family’s Dream of a New Life in London Ends in Tragedy as Air India Flight Crashes

After six years of hard work and sacrifice, Pratik Joshi was finally ready to reunite with his family and begin a new life in London. A dedicated software engineer, he had spent years working abroad to create a better future for his wife, Dr. Komi Vyas, and their three young children, who remained in India during that time.

With endless planning, visa approvals, and emotional goodbyes behind them, the family’s dream was just about to begin. Dr. Vyas had resigned from her job, their bags were packed, and hopes were high. Just two days prior, the couple had finalized everything for their one-way journey.

On a bright morning, full of excitement, the family boarded Air India Flight 171, their hearts brimming with anticipation. They clicked a selfie together and shared it with relatives—one final moment of joy before departure.

Tragically, that journey never reached its destination. The flight crashed en route to London. No passengers survived, including the Joshi family.

What was meant to be a new chapter became an unimaginable loss—for their family, their community, and everyone who knew them.
