INTERNATIONAL DESK (Nazrana Times): Israeli-American rabbi Yossi Mizrachi has drawn criticism over a video containing derogatory remarks about Hindu beliefs and Indian doctors, according to reports by Indian media outlets India Today, NDTV and Live Hindustan.

Clip Linked to YouTube Sermon

NDTV’s October 30 report identifies the clip as part of a sermon streamed from the United States on Mizrachi’s YouTube channel on October 28, 2026. It shows him mocking Hindu reverence for cows and making disparaging remarks about Indian doctors.

According to Live Hindustan, Mizrachi recounted an alleged encounter with an Indian man and made claims about his family’s practices. He then used that account to make sweeping, unsubstantiated assertions about Hindus and medical professionals.

Criticism from India and Israel

Live Hindustan reported that Israeli writer and researcher Yeshaya Rosenman, who lives in India, condemned the remarks and said they damaged Israel’s international reputation.

NDTV reported that Palestine’s Ambassador to India, Abdullah M. Abu Shawesh, shared the video while condemning religious hatred and the mocking of faith. He stressed the importance of respect for different religions and acceptance of others.

Claims Must Not Be Treated as Established Facts

The Indian media reports document Mizrachi’s remarks and the reactions they prompted. They do not establish the truth of his claims about Hindus or Indian doctors.

An alleged account involving individuals cannot establish how an entire religious community or profession behaves.
