Government to Provide ₹5 Lakh Free Medical Aid to Registered Construction Workers – MLA Manjinder Singh Lalpura

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann the Punjab Government is offering free medical assistance of up to ₹5 lakh to registered construction workers and their families under the Ayushman Bharat Mukhya Mantri Bima Yojana

MLA Manjinder Singh Lalpura of Khadoor Sahib constituency shared that this medical assistance can be availed at any empaneled hospital To benefit from the scheme, registered construction workers must get their Ayushman Card which can be obtained from any government hospital

Who Can Avail the Benefits?

MLA Manjinder Singh Lalpura informed that the Punjab Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board has been set up for the welfare of construction laborers. A worker aged 18 to 60 years, who has worked as a construction laborer for at least 90 days in the past year in Punjab, can register as a beneficiary.

How to Register?

- Registration can be done at any Seva Kendra or through the "Kirti Sahayak App"

- The applicant needs to submit the required documents along with an annual fee of ₹145

-Registered construction workers and their family members will receive free medical assistance of up to ₹5 lakh under this scheme.

Where Can Beneficiaries Get Treatment?

Registered construction workers can receive  free treatment at any government or empaneled hospitalunder the Ayushman Bharat Mukhya Mantri Bima Yojana

This initiative by the Punjab Government is a  major step toward the welfare of construction workers, ensuring they get free medical treatment for serious illnesses
