Under the 'War on Drugs' campaign launched by the Punjab government, under the directions of District Police Chief SSP Deepak Pareek and the leadership of DSP Sub Division Sri Goindwal Sahib Sri Atul Soni, strict action against drug smugglers will continue and anti-social elements will not be allowed to raise their heads in the area. These words were said by SHO Sub Inspector Baljinder Singh of Police Station Chohla Sahib while talking to reporters. He said that under the 'War on Drugs' campaign, drug smuggler Sukhchain Singh alias Sonu son of Dalip Singh, a resident of town Chohla Sahib, and his mother and wife, against whom more than 20 cases have been registered in different police stations under different sections. SHO Baljinder Singh appealed to the residents of the area that if any anti-social element is found, they should immediately inform the police party.
