Celebrations have erupted among cricket fans across Pakistan as national team batsman Imam-ul-Haq has been blessed with a baby girl, marking a joyful new chapter in his life.
The 30-year-old left-handed opener shared the happy news on social media, expressing gratitude and happiness over the arrival of his first child. In his message, Imam described his daughter as “a precious gift and a new beginning,” and requested prayers from fans and well-wishers.
The couple has named their daughter Inara Haq, a name that beautifully signifies “ray of light” or “illumination.” Imam shared that the newborn has already become the light of their lives, bringing immense joy and warmth to the family.
Imam-ul-Haq, who is the nephew of former Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq, married Anmol Mehmood, a medical doctor, on November 25, 2023. Their wedding celebrations began in Norway and concluded with a graceful ceremony in Lahore attended by close family and friends.
