Sialkot, Ali Imran Chattha Nazrana Times

Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs Punjab, Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora, has stated that the sacred land of Pakistan is the land of Sufis, Gurus, and saints, where every Pakistani is living their life in complete freedom and without any fear or danger according to their religion and beliefs.
He expressed these views while addressing a ceremony held in Sialkot on the occasion of the Hindu community's religious festival "Shivaratri." On this occasion, Jaskaran Singh, Ratan Lal, the Papu brothers, and a large number of the Hindu community were also present.
In his address, the Provincial Minister mentioned the restoration of historical religious sites in Sialkot and said that the efforts of Federal Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif and Muhammad Manshaullah Butt in restoring Gurdwara Babe di Ber and Mandir Shivala Teja Singh and liberating them from the land mafia are commendable. He said that these leaders have set an excellent example of interfaith harmony by taking practical steps for the rights of minorities and the protection of their places of worship.
Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora expressed confidence in the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, stating that Maryam Nawaz Sharif has proven through her words and deeds that minorities are the crown of her head. He said that according to the Chief Minister's vision, 12-day Christmas celebrations were held for the first time this year, while a historic 8-kilometer long Christmas rally was magnificently organized in Lahore, creating a new milestone. Similarly, the birth anniversary celebrations of Baba Guru Nanak Sahib were also held in a very dignified manner, and today the Hindu community is celebrating the festival of Shivaratri with full enthusiasm.
Rejecting foreign propaganda against Pakistan, the Provincial Minister said that those who spread the impression around the world that minorities or Hindus are not safe here can come and see with their own eyes how free, prosperous, and secure the Hindu community living in Pakistan is. He made it clear that the State of Pakistan is determined to provide equal rights to all its citizens, and all communities living here are playing their full role together in the construction and development of the country.
