45-foot sperm whale spotted near Karachi in first recorded Sindh coast sighting: WWF

KARACHI (Nazrana Times): A sperm whale measuring approximately 45 feet has been spotted in the Arabian Sea, around 40 nautical miles southwest of Karachi. According to the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), this is the first recorded sighting of the species off the Sindh coast.

The organisation described the sighting as a significant development for marine wildlife monitoring in Pakistan.
