Prabhjot Singh Rayat of Government High School, Thala, secures 17th rank in Class 10th Merit List.

Apra, May 11 (Tirth Singh Mangra): In the Class 10th results announced by the Punjab School Education Board, Prabhjot Singh Rayat, a student of Government High School, Thala (Block Phillaur, Jalandhar), has brought laurels to his region, school, teachers, and parents by securing the 17th rank in the Punjab merit list with 628 out of 650 marks.

Sharing the details, School Head Mr. Mohan Lal stated that besides Prabhjot Singh, other students of Government High School, Thala, also secured top positions. Among them, Roshan Walia stood second with 88.61%, Manpreet Kaur third with 88.15%, Jasdeep Kaur fourth with 85.5%, Harman Kaur fifth with 83%, Suhana sixth with 82%, and Akash secured the seventh position with 80% marks.
He further mentioned that most of the students study in the English medium. Following the merit achievement, the entire staff and the SMC Committee honored the students. Present on the occasion were Chairman Mr. Raj Kumar (Sarpanch), Mrs. Gurjinder Kaur, Mrs. Sudesh Rani, Mr. Prithi Lal, Mr. Resham Singh, Mrs. Gurpreet Kaur, Miss Sulekha Rani, Mr. Jagjit Singh Randhawa (Head, Govt. Primary School Zhandipir Kadiana), and Prabhjot’s parents।
