Sikh Pilgrims Visit Gurdwara Sacha Sauda, Head to Hasan Abdal

Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) Hosts Vaisakhi Festival and 327th Khalsa Janam Din Celebrations

On the third day of their visit to Pakistan for the Vaisakhi Festival, Sikh pilgrims from India visited Gurdwara Sacha Sauda in Farooqabad, where they performed their religious rituals. Following the visit, the pilgrims departed for Hassan Abdal to participate in the main Vaisakhi festivities at Gurdwara Panja Sahib.

Additional Secretary Shrines, Nasir Mushtaq, stated that in accordance with the directives of ETPB Chairman Qamar-uz-Zaman, special security arrangements have been made for the Sikh pilgrims arriving from India. The ETPB administration, in collaboration with the district government, is actively engaged in facilitating the visitors.

Main Ceremony: The central Vaisakhi event will be held on April 14 at Gurdwara Panja Sahib, Hassan Abdal. All arrangements for the ceremony have been finalized.
Distinguished Guests: The ceremony will be attended by Provincial Minister Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora, ETPB Chairman Qamar-uz-Zaman, ambassadors from various countries, and high-ranking government officials.
Next Destination: On April 15, the pilgrims are scheduled to travel to Gurdwara Darbar Sahib, Kartarpur.

Pilgrims' Sentiments
Expressing their views, the Sikh pilgrims remarked that Pakistan is a peaceful and loving country, noting a deep emotional bond with its people. They extended their gratitude to the Government of Pakistan and the Evacuee Trust Property Board for the excellent arrangements made for the Vaisakhi Festival.
