Lahore High Court Shows Anger Over Delay in Sarabjeet Kaur Deportation Case

Sarabjeet Kaur Deportation Petition-High Court expresses Anger on late report's submission- Update- 25.3.26

, Justice Farooq Haider of Lahore High Court heared Petition regarding Deportation of Sarabjeet Kaur over violation of visa laws of Pakistan.
Advocate Ali Changezi Sandh and M. Nawaz Sheikh argued in the petition. 
While arguing, Ali Changezi Sandhu Advocate drew attention of Honourable Court toward last order of the Court wherein Court ordered Respondents to submit parawise comments and reports on the matter of Sarabjeet Kaur's Deportation by noticing

- Interior Ministry 
- Government of Punjab 
- DG FIA
- Ministry of Foreign Affairs 
- Ministry of Minorities Affairs 
However, the order was not complied with. 
Cabinet Division sought time of one month for appointment of its lawyer to submit report. Ali Changezi Sandhu Advocate
Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Ministry of Minorities Affairs submitted their parawise comments and reports in the court. Ali Changezi Sandhu Advocate 

Ministry of Minorities Affairs said in its comments that Sarabjeet Kaur matter is releated to Ministry of Interior. It has nothing to Minister of Minorities Affairs. On the other hand, Ministry of Foreign Affairs submitted its comments by taking stance that the matter of Sarabjeet Kaur's Deportation is related to Ministry of Interior as MOFA deals with foreign affiars. Ali Changezi Sandhu Advocate 
Ali Changezi Sandhu Advocate pointed out that the Ministry of Interior didnot submit its report yet after passing more than two months on that Justice Farooq Haider expressed anger and strong displeasure by calling Assistant Advocate General and was strictly ordered to ensure submittion of report from respondents till 14.4.2026.
