Launch of Restoration and Conservation Project for Minority Religious Sites under CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s Flagship Program

Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs Ramesh Singh Arora formally inaugurated the project for restoration, conservation, and rehabilitation of minority religious sites across Punjab at Gurdwara Manke under the flagship program of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
Speaking on the occasion, the Provincial Minister stated that the Punjab Government is taking practical steps to preserve the religious and cultural heritage of minority communities. Under this initiative, restoration and conservation work will be carried out on gurdwaras, churches, temples, and other minority religious buildings across the province in a phased manner.
Ramesh Singh Arora said that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif is committed to protecting the rights and religious freedom of minority communities. The project aims not only to preserve the historical significance of minority religious sites but also to promote interfaith harmony and tolerance in society.
He further added that the Punjab Government is ensuring that minority communities have access to safe, dignified, and well-maintained places for the practice of their religious beliefs. Through this initiative, historically significant religious structures will be preserved for future generations.
