President Urges New Federal Ombudsman to Improve Citizens’ Access to Justice

Naveed Kamran Baloch has taken the oath of office as the 9th Federal Ombudsman of Pakistan. President Asif Ali Zardari administered the oath to him.

 Naveed Kamran Baloch has taken the oath of office as the 9th Federal Ombudsman of Pakistan, with President Asif Ali Zardari administering the oath. A dignified oath-taking ceremony was held here at the Aiwan-e-Sadr on Tuesday, which was attended by senior government officials and other important personalities. Naveed Kamran Baloch will hold his office for a four-year term.
According to the President's Press Wing, Naveed Kamran Baloch possesses extensive administrative experience and has served in various senior administrative positions. Previously, he has held key administrative roles including Chief Secretary of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Federal Secretary, and Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister of Sindh.
Following the oath-taking ceremony, the Federal Ombudsman met with the President. On this occasion, the President directed the Federal Ombudsman to prioritize improving citizens' access to justice, ensuring timely and effective disposal of cases, and further strengthening the system for the prompt redressal of complaints in federal institutions
