Appeal to Field Bhai Sandeep Singh Sunny as Joint Candidate in Tarn Taran By-Poll

Panthic Bodies Urged to Support Bhai Sandeep Singh Sunny as Consensus Candidate in Tarn Taran By-Election: SYF (Bhindranwale)

Sikh preacher, Panthic writer, and President of the Sikh Youth Federation (Bhindranwale), Bhai Ranjit Singh Damdami Taksal, has appealed to Panthic organizations to jointly field Bhai Sandeep Singh Sunny as a common candidate in the Tarn Taran by-election and ensure his victory with a heavy majority.

He said that Bhai Sandeep Singh Sunny has made great sacrifices by confronting those considered enemies of the Sikh nation, and now the community should honour his struggle by supporting him electorally.

Bhai Ranjit Singh urged Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) President Simranjit Singh Mann to withdraw their candidate and extend support to Sunny, recalling how they had earlier backed Bhai Amritpal Singh during the Lok Sabha elections, which led to his victory.

He further appealed to Akali Dal Waris Punjab, the newly formed Shiromani Akali Dal under Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh and Bibi Satwant Kaur, the United Akali Dal, Misal Sutlej, and other Panthic groups to unite and declare Bhai Sunny as a joint independent candidate.

Paying tribute to Shaheed Jaswant Singh Khalra’s widow, Bibi Paramjit Kaur Khalra, for stepping aside from the contest despite popular support, he requested her to play a vital role in Sunny’s campaign as she did for Amritpal Singh.

He also mentioned that devotees of Shaheed Baba Charan Singh Kar Sewa wale, and families of Sikh martyrs from Majha region, will naturally support Bhai Sunny. He emphasized that not only Sikhs but also the Hindu community should recognize his struggle for human rights and extend support.

Criticizing Congress, BJP, and the Badal Dal for their anti-Panthic and anti-Punjab policies, he said people have lost hope in traditional parties. He urged the Badals to withdraw their candidate Sukhwinder Kaur Randhawa to avoid splitting votes again, as happened previously.

Bhai Ranjit Singh concluded by saying that all Panthic groups should soon convene a special meeting to finalize a joint decision for ensuring Bhai Sandeep Singh Sunny’s victory in the Tarn Taran by-election.
