Issuing a statement to the press from the national office of the Adhikar Sangharsh Party today, on 21/01/2026, party president Gurbaksh Singh Shergill said that after independence, all the countrymen worked hard to settle this land and also made a valuable contribution to the country's treasury by setting up factories in the public sector, providing employment to all sections of the society. Government employees continued to receive their salaries and pensions on time, the budget of many states including Punjab was also profitable till 1982. Till then, issues of poverty, unemployment, corruption and inflation were on the agenda of all the parties. Anti-national elements deviated from the real issues and promoted the politics of caste and religion. Today's leaders deviated from future planning and are selling the country's resources, natural resources, departments and land to capitalists. Some people are criticizing their sale or their character. The situation has become so pathetic that people have even started pointing fingers at our judicial system. Thus, Shergill said that the property of India belongs to the natives/backward classes here and it cannot be tolerated by the people who keep it a secret and sell it to the looters for a pittance. He appealed to the countrymen to come forward and unite to save the country from the looting that is happening. These people are selling everything and adjusting their families in foreign countries. The current rulers are making laws in their favor at the behest of the capitalists. Under a conspiracy, schemes are being hatched to make the heirs and owners of the country the servants of the bourgeoisie. The precious right to vote given by Ambedkar ji has been put at a price. We need to understand this, if you don't wake up, you will see it ruined for yourself.
Finally, Shergill said that in the countries where these laws/policies have been implemented. There, the moneylenders have become wealthy but the conditions of the common people have become pathetic. The Adhikar Sangharsh Party appeals that to save the glorious heritage of India, we need to understand the value of vote and save the constitution. This is the duty of every Indian.
