UNITED SIKHS Volunteers Begin Flood Relief Sewa at Kartarpur Sahib

UNITED SIKHS Flood Relief Sewa at Darbar Kartarpur Sahib, Narowal

Ali Imran Chattha,Nazrana Times

Since Saturday, 6th September, UNITED SIKHS volunteers have been actively engaged in Sewa (selfless service) to pump out flood water from the basement of the Sarowar (holy pond) at Darbar Kartarpur Sahib, Narowal.

The basement, which houses essential infrastructure such as water filtration systems and electrical connections, was heavily flooded, posing serious risks to the Sarowar's operations and safety.

Our dedicated team has also commenced the cleaning and restoration of the Sarowar Sahib, ensuring the sacred space is returned to its pristine condition.

This Sewa is ongoing, and our volunteers continue to work tirelessly to restore the affected areas, especially focusing on the water plant, electrical systems, and overall cleanliness of the Sarowar and its surroundings.

UNITED SIKHS remains committed to supporting the community and preserving the sanctity of this revered site.
