Youm-e-Tashakur Conference Held at Nolakha Presbyterian Church in Connection with Marka-e-Haq

A Youm-e-Tashakur Conference in connection with Marka-e-Haq was held at Nolakha Presbyterian Church, Lahore, where prominent personalities from different schools of thought and religions participated. The conference was attended by Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs Ramesh Singh Arora, Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee and Khateeb Badshahi Mosque Maulana Syed Abdul Khabir Azad, Reverend Dr. Majid Abel, and other religious and social leaders.
Addressing the conference, Reverend Dr. Majid Abel said that India has always attempted to undermine Pakistan and has now become a threat to global peace. He stated that Pakistan has emerged as an ambassador of peace in the world. He also presented a declaration during the conference, which received strong support from the participants.

Provincial Minister Ramesh Singh Arora congratulated the entire nation on the success of Marka-e-Haq and stated that last year the enemy conspired against Pakistan and targeted innocent civilians and unarmed citizens. He said that minorities including Sikhs, Muslims, Christians, Hindus, and lower-caste communities are not safe even in the country that claims to be a secular state. Ramesh Singh Arora further stated that the Sikh community observes June 6 as a black day in remembrance of the attack on the Golden Temple. He emphasized that all minorities and religious communities in Pakistan are united in conveying the message that Pakistan is a land of peace, love, and harmony. He added that while the enemy lacks the spirit of patriotism, the people of Pakistan are filled with unity, faith, and national pride.
Renowned religious scholar Maulana Asim Makhdoom expressed complete support for the declaration presented by Dr. Majid Abel and stated that India has been involved in many major incidents around the world.
Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Maulana Syed Abdul Khabir Azad said in his address that celebrations of Youm-e-Tashakur over the success of Marka-e-Haq “Bunyan-un-Marsoos” are being held across the country, and there is hardly any place where these celebrations are not taking place. He stated that India is a deceitful and dishonest state that attempted aggression against Pakistan on the basis of baseless allegations, but under the leadership of the Field Marshal, a strong response was given to the enemy.
Other speakers also paid tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces and reaffirmed their resolve to sacrifice even the last drop of their blood for the defense and security of the motherland.
