Pakistani Wrestlers Shine at Asian Beach Games 2026 in Sanya

Sanya, China –Nazrana Times - Pakistani beach wrestlers have delivered impressive performances at the 6th Asian Beach Games 2026, raising the national flag high in the sand.
Experienced campaigner Muhammad Inam Butt in the 90kg category produced a strong showing, defeating the Indian wrestler in a keenly contested bout. According to the media reports and videos suggest Inam Butt secured the victory and has been on good form, recording multiple wins in the competition so far.
In the 70kg category, Muhammad Abdullah also put up a commendable fight. He won two of his three group-stage matches, including a dominant 4-0 victory in one bout, before suffering a defeat in his final group match. Despite the loss, Abdullah successfully qualified for the quarterfinals.
Pakistan’s beach wrestling team, which also includes Asadullah (80kg) and Muhammad Gulzar (+90kg), is competing in the event being held from April 28 to 29/30 at Sanya Bay. Inam Butt, a decorated wrestler with previous gold medals at Asian Beach Games and World Beach Championships, is leading the charge with his experience and determination.
