Sikh Pilgrims Visit Pakistan: Arrangements Reviewed at Gurdwara Dera Sahib

Lahore: Under the administration of the Evacuee Trust Property Board, Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, arrangements for Sikh pilgrims visiting Pakistan were reviewed at Gurdwara Dera Sahib, Lahore. Additional Secretary Shrines Nasir Mushtaq and President of the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora inspected the facilities provided for the pilgrims.
Speaking on the occasion, Nasir Mushtaq stated that Pakistan firmly believes in religious harmony and tolerance. Despite tense global conditions, Sikh pilgrims have been warmly welcomed with open hearts. He added that Pakistan holds immense religious importance for the Sikh community, and the respect Pakistan enjoys globally is unparalleled.
Media Supporting Pilgrims’ Voice

On this occasion, Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora said that since the arrival of Sikh pilgrims from India, the media has played a key role in amplifying their voice. He noted that pilgrims have come with the hope of paying homage on the sacred land of Baba Guru Nanak Ji.
Government Praised for Arrangements
Ramesh Singh Arora appreciated the Government of Punjab and the Government of Pakistan for always valuing the Sikh community. He expressed gratitude to all relevant institutions for making excellent arrangements and added that due to the positive vision of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, the country’s name is resonating globally.
Message of Peace and Harmony
He further said that Pakistan is promoting a message of peace, tolerance, and brotherhood across the world and will continue to do so in the future.
Pilgrims’ Stay and Departure
Sikh pilgrims will stay in Lahore for two days and will depart for India on April 19 via the Wagah Border after completing their visit to Pakistan.
