Jathedar Giani Kuldip Singh Gargajj given warm welcome by sangat on arrival in Hong Kong

Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib Giani Kuldip Singh Gargajj has arrived in Hong Kong on a three-day visit at the invitation of Gurdwara Khalsa Diwan Sikh Temple Hong Kong.
On his arrival in Hong Kong, the local Sikh sangat (community members) and Gurdwara management gave Jathedar Giani Kuldip Singh Gargajj a warm welcome by presenting him with a Siropao (robe of honour) and garlands, amid resounding chants of Bole So Nihal Sat Sri Akal.

Upon reaching the Gurdwara Sahib, youth welcomed Jathedar Sri Akal Takht Sahib with Jaikaras and by holding up swords as an honor guard.
During his three-day visit, Jathedar Giani Kuldip Singh Gargajj will participate in Gurmat congregations at Gurudwara Khalsa Diwan Sikh Temple Hong Kong, share thoughts with the sangat, and engage in Sikh prachar (preaching) among the local sangat and youth.

It is noteworthy that Sikhs first arrived in Hong Kong about 125 years ago, where they established the Sri Guru Singh Sabha in 1901. The beautiful Gurdwara Khalsa Diwan Sikh Temple stands there today.
