Iranian President Offers Condolences to Pakistan Over Devastating Floods

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif received a telephone call from His Excellency Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, offering condolences over the ongoing floods in Pakistan.

During the call, President Pezeshkian expressed his heartfelt sympathy to the families affected by the floods and acknowledged the loss of lives and property. He assured the Pakistani government of Iran’s support and offered any assistance possible to help the people of Pakistan during this difficult time.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif thanked President Pezeshkian for his thoughtful gesture and solidarity. He also requested that the Iranian President convey his warm regards to Supreme Leader His Eminence Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Both leaders expressed anticipation for further discussions at the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit in Tianjin, China.
