UK MP Preet Kaur Gill Pays Obeisance at Sachkhand Sri Harmandar Sahib; Honoured by SGPC President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami

UK Member of Parliament Preet Kaur Gill today paid obeisance at Sachkhand Sri Harmandar Sahib, expressing her devotion towards the Guru Granth Sahib.
After offering prayers, she visited the office of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), where she met SGPC President, Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami.
On the occasion, SGPC President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami extended a warm welcome to MP Preet Kaur Gill and honoured her on behalf of the SGPC with a traditional siropa (robe of honour) and a golden model of Sachkhand Sri Harmandar Sahib.
Expressing gratitude for the honour, Preet Kaur Gill said she feels fortunate to have paid obeisance at Sachkhand Sri Harmandar Sahib. She described the holy shrine as a guiding light for all humanity. She added that after becoming an MP, she had come to offer thanks to the Guru Granth Sahib and to pray for the welfare of all (Sarbat da Bhala).
She further said that she prayed for peace amid the current global conflicts and hoped that harmony and prosperity prevail across the world.
Prominent SGPC members present on the occasion included Daljit Singh Bhindar, Mangwinder Singh Khaparkheri, Rajinder Singh Mehta, Ajmer Singh Khera, Pritpal Singh Pali, Ajaib Singh Abhyasi, Paramjit Kaur, Secretary Balwinder Singh Kahlwan, Private Secretary Shahbaz Singh, and Additional Secretary Harbhajan Singh Vakta, among others.
